3 Valleys of the Atlas Day Trip

The best of the High Atlas in one day

This full-day excursion combines several of the most beautiful valleys south of Marrakech. You start in the Ourika Valley with a visit to the women who extract argan oil, then follow a mountain road towards Oukaimeden at around 1,800 m, passing adobe and stone villages.

Lunch can be arranged in a Berber house before you continue to the Asni and Imlil valleys for a short camel ride and wide views of the snow-capped peaks. On request the day can be extended to Lalla Takerkoust lake and the Kik Plateau before returning to Marrakech.

Program of the day

1. 08:30

   Hotel pick-up

   Departure in the morning with your driver / guide.

2. 09:30

   Ourika Valley

   Argan cooperative visit and optional trek to the waterfalls.

3. 11:30

   Oukaimeden road

   Scenic mountain road with Berber villages and viewpoints.

4. 13:00

   Lunch

   Traditional meal in a Berber family house (not included).

5. 14:30

   Asni & Imlil

   Camel ride and panoramic views of the High Atlas.

6. 17:30

   Return

   Drop-off at your accommodation around 17:30.
