A long but rewarding day by comfortable private car on the motorway. In Rabat, Morocco’s capital, you explore the blue-and-white Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Chellah necropolis.

In the afternoon you continue to Casablanca for the Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest in the world and open to non-Muslim visitors — before a walk along the Corniche, the Habous quarter and the Art Deco city centre. Drop-off back in Marrakech in the evening.
