This five-day loop is designed for travelers who want to really feel the culture of the south. Beyond the famous dunes, you’ll discover ancient irrigation systems, the Rissani market, the Gnawa musicians of Khamlia and the hospitality of nomad and village families.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. D1

   Marrakech – Dades

   Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and the Skoura oases, then the scenic Valley of Roses to a hotel near the Dades Gorges.

2. D2

   Dades – Merzouga

   Todra & Dades gorges, the Jorf khettara irrigation system and Rissani market before reaching your desert hotel.

3. D3

   Erg Chebbi

   4×4 tour of the dunes, Gnawa music in Khamlia and tea with a nomad family. Camel ride to the desert camp for the night.

4. D4

   Merzouga – N’Kob

   Sunrise over the dunes, then drive through Rissani and the Draa Valley to N’Kob for an evening with a local family.

5. D5

   N’Kob – Marrakech

   Return via the Draa Valley, Agdz and the Anti-Atlas & High Atlas mountains with drop-off at your hotel.
